Netafim USA and the California Water Resilience Initiative (CWRI) have launched the Ag Modernization Fund — a program helping growers upgrade outdated irrigation systems using corporate-backed financing.

Phase one supported five California farms, modernizing 235 acres and saving an estimated 491 acre-feet of water annually (≈ 160 million gallons).

Verification is done by LimnoTech, while Netafim’s GrowSphere™ OS provides transparent water-use reporting.

The initiative supports CWRI’s mission to save 1 million acre-feet of water per year by 2030, with additional funding rounds planned.
